Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and MaxLarp ("MaxLarp", "we", "us") for maxlarp.com, the MaxLarp studio, its phone and desktop companion apps and everything they produce (together, the "Service"). They take effect on October 19, 2026.

By creating an account, buying a plan or using the Service you accept these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

What MaxLarp is

MaxLarp makes simulations: fictional, editable mockups of dashboards, apps, cards, receipts, messages and notifications, made for entertainment, parody, film, social content and marketing production.

Nothing in the Service is real financial data. Every balance, payment, order, payout, trade, profit, position, card, receipt, notification and account shown is fictional and generated from what you type or choose. The Service never connects to, reads from or acts on any real bank, card, wallet, exchange, store, platform or social account, and nothing in it is ever bought, sold, sent or held.

No affiliation with any brand

MaxLarp is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by any company, platform, bank, card network, exchange, carmaker or creator whose interface, name or logo appears in the Service. All trademarks, logos and trade dress belong to their respective owners and appear only to identify what a simulation depicts.

You may not suggest that any brand shown, or MaxLarp, endorses you, your content or your claims.

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is not directed to anyone under 18.

Give accurate account details and keep your login private. You are responsible for everything done under your account. Accounts are personal: do not share, sell or transfer yours. Tell us at once at hello@maxlarp.com if you think someone else has accessed it.

Licence, not sale

The Service, its software, designs, templates, simulations, media library and Vault content are licensed, not sold. While your plan is active and you follow these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service and to publish the images and recordings you create with it, for lawful content that complies with the Acceptable Use Policy.

You may not copy, resell, sublicense, redistribute, scrape, frame or rebuild the Service or its templates; reverse engineer it except where the law expressly allows; remove or hide any mark the free tier adds; or use it to build a competing product. We and our licensors keep all rights not expressly granted.

Your content and your responsibility

You keep the rights you have in what you upload, such as photos and names. You give us the licence we need to store, process and display it to run the Service for you. You confirm you have every right and consent needed for anything you upload, including the likeness of anyone shown.

You alone decide how you use what you make with MaxLarp, and you are solely responsible for that use, for any claims you make with it, and for following the law and the rules of every platform where you post. Where the law or a platform requires it, you must disclose that content is simulated or is an advertisement.

Plans, renewal and cancellation

Prices are shown in US dollars before checkout and may exclude taxes, which are added where required. Weekly and monthly plans renew automatically at the then-current price at the end of each period until you cancel. By buying one you authorise us and our payment providers to charge your payment method each period.

You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing hello@maxlarp.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for. Lifetime plans are a single payment that gives access for as long as we operate the Service, subject to these Terms.

We may change prices or what a plan includes. Price changes for renewing plans apply from your next period after we give you notice. Payments are processed by our payment providers (currently SellAuth and Stripe) under their own terms.

Digital goods, refunds and chargebacks

Plans give access to digital content and services. A purchase counts as used, and the service as delivered, as soon as you create or open any dashboard or download anything from the Vault. By starting to use the Service you ask us to supply it immediately and, where a statutory right of withdrawal applies, you acknowledge that you lose it from that moment.

An unused purchase can be refunded within 14 days of the charge; once used, it cannot. Duplicate charges and other billing errors are always refunded. This applies to weekly, monthly and lifetime plans alike; the Refund Policy has the details. Partial periods and unused time on a plan you have used are not refunded.

If you have a billing problem, contact us first. If you open a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us, or for a charge you authorised, we may suspend your account while it is resolved and we may contest it, including with records of your purchase and of your use of the Service.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account, remove content, or refuse service at any time if we believe you have broken these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, created risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if the law requires it. Accounts closed for a violation are not refunded. You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including licence limits, responsibility for your use, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and disputes) survive it.

Changes to the Service and these Terms

The Service changes over time: we may add, change or remove apps, features and content, including simulations of particular brands, without liability. We may update these Terms; we will post the new version here with its effective date and, for material changes, tell you by email or in the Service. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not promise that simulations match any real product exactly, that notifications arrive on time or at all, or that content will be accepted by any platform.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, MaxLarp and its owners, staff and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill or reputation, arising from or related to the Service or these Terms, however caused and even if we were told they were possible.

Our total liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US$50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; there, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law permits.

Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless MaxLarp and its owners, staff and suppliers from any claim, demand, loss, damage, fine, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) brought by a third party or authority that arises from your content, your use of the Service or its output, your claims to others, or your breach of these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy or the law.

Disputes, arbitration and class-action waiver

Before starting any claim, email hello@maxlarp.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally.

Where the law allows, any dispute that is not resolved informally will be settled by final and binding arbitration on an individual basis, not in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court or seek an injunction for misuse of intellectual property. You and MaxLarp each waive any right to a jury trial and to bring or take part in a class, collective or representative action. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim must be heard in court and not in arbitration.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where MaxLarp's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer protections you have under the mandatory law of the country where you live.

General

If any part of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. These Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
