Fake Amex Centurion card app: balances, rewards and alerts

What the fake Amex app includes
The fake Amex dashboard runs in a desktop browser at americanexpress.com in the browser frame, and as an app on your iPhone.
- Platinum, Gold and Centurion cards, so you can choose the tier your character carries.
- Home, with the card balance up front.
- Offers, the list of card perks that scrolls well on camera.
- Activity, a feed of charges you can rename.
- Membership Rewards, for the points storyline.
- Alerts such as “Charge on card ending” four digits, “Your statement is ready” and “Payment received.”
Why the Centurion card makes good content
The black card has its own mythology, which makes it a quick way to signal wealth in a scene or to roast it.
- A skit about a character who says the card has no limit and then checks the app nervously.
- A lifestyle reel where a hotel charge pings during a flight.
- A film scene where the statement alert lands at the wrong moment.
- A parody of a luxury credit card ad with your own twist.
Keep it as a prop. Do not use it to claim credit or status you do not have, or to impress a lender, a landlord or a date who is making a real decision.
Build a fake Amex account in MaxLarp
- 1Open the Amex page and set up your persona: name, photo, city and currency.
- 2Choose the card tier: Platinum, Gold or Centurion.
- 3Set the balance, the Membership Rewards total and the charges in the activity feed.
- 4Pick live mode for charges and alerts that arrive on their own, or static mode to hold the screen still.
- 5Open it in a desktop browser, or install it on your iPhone home screen. Alerts need iOS 16.4 or later.
- 6Screen-record, or film the phone with a second camera.
Details that make a card account feel lived in
- Charges should fit the card. Hotels, flights, restaurants and a few boring ones, like groceries, look more real than all luxury.
- Keep the balance below the amount the character earns in a month. A persona with a modest income and a six-figure balance invites questions.
- Make the rewards total consistent with spending. Points rise roughly with charges, so a huge points count needs a long history.
- Show the statement-ready alert at a plausible time, such as the start of the month.
- Match the name on the card to the one in Wallet and anywhere else it appears.
- Film in portrait on the phone, with Do Not Disturb on, and let one alert arrive on camera.
Choosing the right tier for the character
The three tiers say different things before anyone reads a number. Gold suggests a comfortable professional, Platinum suggests frequent travel and good taste, and Centurion suggests a character who has already arrived or wants to look like it.
Choose the tier that fits the joke or the drama. A skit about overspending lands harder with a Gold card and a Platinum lifestyle. A luxury parody lands harder with a Centurion and a very ordinary coffee charge in the activity feed.
The Offers screen is worth a scroll on camera. It gives you motion and color without a single number that needs explaining.
Pairs well with
A card needs money behind it. Put a Stripe payout or a Shopify sales day before the charge, and the Apple Wallet app after it. The fake Apple Wallet card guide shows how to place the same tier in your Wallet stack.
For a character who spends across several apps, see how a single fake persona keeps the story straight.

Questions
Does the fake Amex app connect to a real American Express account?
No. It never connects to American Express or any bank. Balances, charges and rewards are all generated from the persona and numbers you set, and nothing can be charged or paid.
Can I show a Centurion card specifically?
Yes. You can choose Platinum, Gold or Centurion, then edit the name, balance, rewards total and activity feed so the card matches your character and the rest of your scene.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes. Install it on your home screen for the phone version and its alerts, which need iOS 16.4 or later. It also runs in a desktop browser.
Is a fake Amex Centurion card app legal?
As a prop for videos and skits it is ordinary content. Using it to deceive a lender or anyone in a real transaction is not allowed. MaxLarp is not affiliated with American Express, and this is not legal advice.
Every number on MaxLarp is fictional. Not affiliated with any brand shown. Acceptable use
